[ As Carlisle Magic Number ].
Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, earthy, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity, earthy - nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141205]

Appearance - bright amber with a nice fluffy head.
Nose - oranges with smooth malt undertones.
Taste - oranges again a hint of redcurrant. Dry smooth biscuits.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - a decent bitter.

Rich malty aroma, quite sweet. Misty red, small loose head. Full smooth palate. Lots of sweet caramelly malts. Perfectly serviceable, but not very exciting. Anna gets a few minerals.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate with mild fine carbonation. Mild dry pale malts. Ripe orange and a little orange citrus. Light dry finish. Not bad.
