A full-bodied, full-on Double IPA combining caramel and malt flavours with a well-balanced and substantial bitterness, which is topped off by a tantalising hop aroma with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Light carbonation allows the full flavour of this beer to shine through.

Habanero (4947) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2016
Bottled. Pours clear deep golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, apricot, niney notes, a little spice and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

dnicolaescu (2806) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - OCT 2, 2016
BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear copper, beige head with lacing. Crystal malts, caramel and lollipops, faint piney hops and notes of alcohol. Kind of the opposite to what a good modern IPA should be (even if this bottle is not fresh).

artemb (1297) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - SEP 30, 2016
Look: clear amber with strong fluffy white head. Aroma: caramel, toffee, pine, spicy herbs, minty lollypop. Taste: moderate sweet with moderate bitterness, salt. Flavour: citruses, herbs, pine, toffee, caramel. Some alcohol in the finish. Good.

sound67 (784) - Offenbach, GERMANY - SEP 2, 2016
Bottle, 500ml *** Colour: Dark hazy amber, with a big, off-white head. *** Nose: Caramel, toffee, mild citrusy, spicy hops. *** Mouthfeel: Full body, creamy. Soft carbonation. *** Taste: Orange, orange peel, caramel, a hint of cinnamon - medium dry. Sweetish middle of toffee, herbs and a pine note. Pine comes to the fore in the finish, with mild resin, and in the long aftertaste. *** Impressions: This one takes to a long time to reveal its IPA character, being predominantly malty until the finish. Full-bodied, heavy stuff; the alcohol is noticeable, but not annoyingly so. Not the most typical Imperial IPA, but a complex, satisfying strong ale.

On tap @The Jarvey’s Rest in Muckross, Kerry. Pours a golden amber with an off-white frothy head. Very slight aroma of malts. Taste is malty and sweet with hoppy citrus aftertaste, but more a pale ale/IPA than a double. Medium body and light carbonation.

Great taste, aroma and appearance - great beer overall - really cant fault it on anything.

DraftDodger (1852) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2016
Copenhagen 31/7 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Strange symbols on the label. Looks like a head made witd doodles flying over a comet bursting into the atmosphere. Pours hazy orangeish yellow with white head. Settles as dense 1 cm thick layer of foam. Moderrate lacing. Intense aroma of oranges and slightly fermented sweet fruit. You can smell the alcohol as well. Citric notes of grape fruit and citrus. Soft carbonation and thick oily palate. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by quite heavy bitterness which lingers in the aftertaste with some metallic alcohol. Dry finish. Nice light Double IPA.

Tjomleif (286) - NORWAY - JUL 25, 2016
Draft. Large white head atop hazy apple cider body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, lemon, some grapefruit, light herbal. Taste is moderately sweet orange, some lemon. Soft medium body.

CanCrusher (1189) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - JUL 15, 2016
Bottle 0,50L. Hazy orange color with small, stable, long lasting, creamy white head, that leaves excellent lacing. Aroma of orange dominates, but there are also some herbs and grassy hops in the background. Light to medium bitter start with creamy mouthfeel and medium to heavy bitter finish with quite a lot of grapefruit. Full body, soft carbonation, dry texture.
