COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Bottle, 10C. Very dark reddish brown with a surprisingly large beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, mocha, some molasses. Dry with a fair bit of body. Roasty - even ashy - with mocha and mild spices. Some bitterness but no distinct finish. A bit too fizzy. Not bad at all.

Bottle from Dan Murphy's on 5 April 2018. It's been a while since I have had a stout and this beer reminds how good stouts can be. Packed full of flavour and aroma with a bitter finish. Coffee, burnt toast and chocolate are all present in the flavour. Very enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2018 À l'instar d'une Guinness.. goût très proche d'une guiness en plus soft. Goûté au rock diner

50cl MHD: can't be bothered to look for Aufdruck underneath Pfandaufkleber, Maruhn, - Short & compacted: pairs the nouveau-original take on a session stout (faintly watery, no overamped flavours) with unusual notes of arabica coffee (red berry, earthy bean, liquorice) and a modern, cool hoppiness. I personally prefer a bit more heft, malt smoothness and soothing qualities in my stout, but this almost black-tea like rendition made for fine, one-off sipping.

Nice aroma of roasted malts with hints of dark fruit and coffee, fuller and richer than the other two. Dark ruby color with a moderate tan head, thick and creamy, but lacking the nitro gorgeousness of the canned Irish stouts with the widget. The head also recedes quickly to a thin cap with lacing creeping up the sides of the glass. Mouth feel is on the thin side without the boost from nitro. Roasty flavor with dark fruits and coffee. Richer flavor with more depth than either Guinness or Murphy's. Somewhat sweeter, also. Just enough bittering to balance the malts.

Poređenje sa Ginisom se nameće samo po sebi. Ovo pivo je bolje od Ginisa. Ginis je siromašniji, vodenastiji, dosadniji. Manje je svega u Ginisu.
