COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Tap at Ha’Penny Inn shared with Niilstrong. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized creamy beige head that lasts for a long time.  Smell and taste malts, soft roast, dark and lightly burnt malts with a nice bitterness. Quite pleasant.

Pours black with a thinner dark tan head that doesn’t last long at all. The aroma is heavier in roasted malts, though there is healthy amount of both chocolate and coffee. The taste is very dry with a bitterness that seems to intensify the more you drink. I get a lot of roasted malt and grain in the taste, with minor chocolate coming in at the end. The aftertaste is a short, weak chocolate that leaves you with a lingering grainy bitterness. Light in body, thin in texture, and soft carbonation. I was expecting much more out of this one.

This is my first post. Hi everyone! Dark, almost completely black with generous head. I loved the head. Bready. Roasted aroma. Medium bodied. Low to medium carbonation. Creamy, bland, plain, bitterness at the end. I liked it. Don’t often drink stouts. There is a badge on Untappd if you try it till St. Patrick’s.
