COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Loved it. Thick with a good hop, malt taste. Thick with good flavor. One of the best Stout's I've had.

KeyKeg at the Ale Taster, St Neots. Very dark brown bordering on black. A nice cream-coloured head on top. Strong liquorice aroma with dark malt. Taste is still liquorice-heavy with a sweet spicy flavour and a more butter balanced finish. The soft gentle carbonation gives depth to the body. Very drinkable Irish stout.

Robe noire mousse ecrue épaisse. Nez chocolat , café. Bouche café. Un bonne stout mais il y a mieux.

Bottle 33cl. poured into a English pint. Deep dark brown, tall macropore soapy tan head, dissipates slow and uneven, heavy lacing; aroma roasted malts, cocoa, espresso, licorice; taste medium sweet and bitter, roastey, malty, dark chocolate, coffee roast; dry sweetbitter roasty finish, light spicy notes; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation; pleasant dry stout.

Bottle from saveur bieres. It’s a good regular stout, no surprises, but a good point of reference

Black colour, medium head, short retention, good lace. Aroma is weak, with notes of coffee, licorice, chocolate. Light, a bit watery, texture, good carbonation. Taste of coffee, with notes of chocolate and licorice. Too light and lacking of flavours.

Bottle at home. Pours black with tiny off-white head. Aroma has cocoa and roasted malts. Taste is pretty mild with sweet cocoa and some roastiness. Too watery. Okay.
