4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Pint, nitro @ L Mullingan Grocer. Looks fantastic, black with a creamy white head. Not much aroma through the nitro head. Burnt roast malt in the flavour. Creamy mouthfeel, flay carbonation. More roastiness in the finish. Nice, will rate again when i can find it off the nitro.Re-rated from the bottle, what a difference. Dark chocolate, liquorice notes in the aroma and flavour, thick, lush mouth feel. Nice saltiness too. Why drink any stout on nitro? Excellent.
Gut. DeanF (2469) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 12, 2017
Kinda modest foamy head with a light brown colour, and a good dark brown body, oh yeah. Dark caramel aroma, some sugariness, graham cracker in small doses. Flavour is chocolatey barley,. Crisp finish. Nice and drinkable, well made but simple. jjsint (3218) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2017
KeyKeg at the Ale Taster, St Neots. Very dark brown bordering on black. A nice cream-coloured head on top. Strong liquorice aroma with dark malt. Taste is still liquorice-heavy with a sweet spicy flavour and a more butter balanced finish. The soft gentle carbonation gives depth to the body. Very drinkable Irish stout. daenelyn (95) - - JUL 14, 2017

Bottle from saveur bieres. It’s a good regular stout, no surprises, but a good point of reference PatrickYEG (41) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 24, 2017
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Bottle at home. Pours black with tiny off-white head. Aroma has cocoa and roasted malts. Taste is pretty mild with sweet cocoa and some roastiness. Too watery. Okay.
