COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Roasty aroma, bready.. not a ton going on, bit thin, terribly mild, lacks flavor.. inoffensive I suppose but does nothing to excite.

Gut.

Kinda modest foamy head with a light brown colour, and a good dark brown body, oh yeah. Dark caramel aroma, some sugariness, graham cracker in small doses. Flavour is chocolatey barley,. Crisp finish. Nice and drinkable, well made but simple.

KeyKeg at the Ale Taster, St Neots. Very dark brown bordering on black. A nice cream-coloured head on top. Strong liquorice aroma with dark malt. Taste is still liquorice-heavy with a sweet spicy flavour and a more butter balanced finish. The soft gentle carbonation gives depth to the body. Very drinkable Irish stout.

Bottle from saveur bieres. It’s a good regular stout, no surprises, but a good point of reference

Black colour, medium head, short retention, good lace. Aroma is weak, with notes of coffee, licorice, chocolate. Light, a bit watery, texture, good carbonation. Taste of coffee, with notes of chocolate and licorice. Too light and lacking of flavours.

Bottle at home. Pours black with tiny off-white head. Aroma has cocoa and roasted malts. Taste is pretty mild with sweet cocoa and some roastiness. Too watery. Okay.
