Keg& bottles, regular.Dry hopped for extra aroma, this pale ale has a light malt base with just the right mouthfeel to allow the hop character to predominate. Grapefruit like bitterness is full and lasting and is balanced by a zesty citrus burst of aroma from two late additions of cascade hops.

Pouts golden amber with fluffy white head, the aroma is grass, earthy, freshness, small amount of citrus and hay. The flavor is caramel with grass, citrus, and earthy flavors. Overall balanced pale ale, not sure if the dry hop adds anything. Body is medium. Smooth beer

Bottle, best before July 2016, drunk 1/8/16.
Copper-golden body is clear and well-carbonated with an off-white head atop that shows moderate retention.
Floral, lightly citrusy hops are definitely prominent in the nose, but are atop a layer of rather bready/papery malts that seem quite dull. A hint of metal, perhaps, but otherwise clean, with no alcohol and (at least) no resin or aggressive hop character.
Pretty mindless drinking, with highly attenuated malts leaving behind a somewhat scratchy/husky texture. Hop bitterness is mild and the light grapefruit zest, fresh dill and cucumber-like hop character remains, though there are touches of soapiness. A worthy effort, but the Irish seem better suited to brewing delicious stouts.

Bottle out of one of my Christmas selection boxes. Orange gold with a frilling collar. Bouquet of wicker, orange boiled sweets, privet and adhesive. Dry hopped IPA?? Doesn’t smell like one. Non-committal soapy regurgitated peach boiled sweet flavour. Had such high hopes for this having not tasted any Irish non-macro stuff for about 5 years and it’s a total washout. Feels stale and sun damaged and it’s over a year in date. Zero hop. Get me a Gwince.

Moderate foam. Lovely inviting aroma of bright biscuit and a little flower that is comfortable with honey. The taste is full-bodied with a lovely touch of honey, flowers, pine and citrus. It is an extremely good pale ale that tastes just fine with many small undertones of the aforementioned flavor notes without any of them being dominant. Very nice and well-brewed pale ale which all flavor notes give each other space and roominess. I am excited.

Bottle. Vibrant golden beer with a strong whitish head. The aroma is well hopped with some yeastiness, and the flavour is deeply hopped and very dry with some smooth toffee elements. Overall a nice well hopped ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from Total Wine and More The ale poured a hazy light amber with small off-white head and modest lacing. The aroma was a grassy hops and some pale malts. The ale has a medium body and soft carbonation. The ale had more flavor as it warmed up.

Slightly murky light copper beer with a thin bright white head that recedes quickly. Nose of unbaked biscuit dough mixed with floral honey and sprinkled with heather. The flavor has more of a hoppy profile with pretty strong citrus and pine resin flavors bolstered by a tiny bit of honey sweetness at the end. Not sure if it’s the combination of flavors or if there’s something else there, but the aftertaste turns into something soapy, which brings everything down a bit. Decent beer, but not great.

Une bière légèrement amère mais relativement fruitée. Houblon, raisin et citron. Rien de renversant, mais rien à redire.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2016 500ml bottle. Very clear golden colour with a small creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy, malty, doughy/bready - not too keen on that part. Flavour is also very hoppy with a fruity bitterness, citrusy finish.
