Bottled, from Bull and Castle, Dublin. Clear deep golden, rich airy head. Aroma of lychee and pear. Freshly hoppy and fairly sweet with well rounded doughy malt. Growing bitterness. Pleasantly hop aromatic, though a bit sweet to be truly drinkable. HenrikSoegaard (14448) - Randers, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2011
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Herbs and lemon notes. Heavy bitter very nice flavor. Long nice heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice brew. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 8, 2011
50cl bottle @ Bull and Castle, Dublin. Thanks Dave.
This one looks like a pilsener, with its crystal clear, sparkling golden body. The head is slightly off-white, long-lived and laces the glass very well. The aroma is fairly strong and is dominated by hops, but there are also malty traces in the back. It’s sweet fruity with peach, grapefruit and orange, and some refreshing herbs. Very crisp and clean! Moderate to light sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish that is quite long-lasting and slightly dry-ish. The hops are not surprisingly the main contributor to the fruity flavours: again it’s peach and citric notes, also bitter resin and herbs. The flavours aren’t as strong as the aroma, but still a very tasteful brew. Wonderful mouthfeel, the texture is creamy and smooth and the beer isn’t as light bodied as I often find pale ales with this low ABV. This is close to being the perfect session beer, I could easily drink this one all night!Beersiveknown (5301) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JUL 21, 2012

Pours burnished gold with slight white head and classic American hops peppery grapefruit nose. Bitter up front with citrus flavour and long floral bitter finish.

Bottle. Light hazy golden with a medium head. Very hoppy aroma - citrus, pine, citrus, pine,... and grapefruit. Oh, some apple esters seem to be in here as well. Very nice. Dry body countered by a light oiliness of the hops. Decidedly hoppy flavour with a very bitter finish and an aftertaste of pine, citrus, earth and grass. Very tasty hop bomb from Ireland. ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 1, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2013 Pours a deep gold, nice white head. Soft hopped nose, some fresh grass and hay. Nothing overwhelming. Nice smooth english hop/pale ale style bitterness in the flavour. Finish is malty. A nicely done pale ale, nice to have one with isnt murdered with hops.
Re-rated, they appear to have tweaked the receipe - way more hop forward and a pronounced biscuit malt, mouth feel as smooth as you like. Fantastic. triskaideka (369) - Killarney, IRELAND - JAN 3, 2013
Bottle at home - but will look out for version on tap when next in those parts (Dublin) where it can be gotten. Good bitterness and clean refreshing taste pivnizub (10766) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2013
Bottle: A bit unclear, golden to deep golden, medium-sized loose and stable off-white head, moderate fruity nose with distinctive herbal-lemony hops, some barley detectable; moderate to solid dry bitter flavour, still presenting a shy, subdued sweetness, light to medium bodied; dry fruity-hoppy finish, dominated by flavours of oranges and grapefruits.Guinness? A bit under-rated I think. Amber body, with off white head, nice lacing. Vibrant hoppy aroma. Bitter taste, lots of flavour. A really solid APA in my books.
