COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional light hop flavour balances the sweet malty caramel taste. The addition of a pinch of roast barley during the brewing process lends a distinctive roast bite which is balanced by a crisp dry medium bitterness.

Creedence (312) - Montreal, Quebec, - NOV 17, 2013
500ml bottle enjoyed after work watching the football! Pours a very nice deep, dark brownish red with a one finger frothy beige head that leaves a nice lacing and a little clinging head. Aroma is slightly metallic with an amount of caramel and a little straw and bread (improved as the beer warmed up a couple of degrees). Taste is better, a delicate balance of bready sweetness and redcurrant bitterness. Aftertaste is abrupt, mostly light caramel, with medium body and reasonably lively carbonation. A pretty decent red ale, but nothing entirely remarkable.

ALIBALI (2201) - Kiel, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2017
Gab die Nitro Variante vom Fass beim 2016er Norderstedter Craft Beer Day. Das merkt man natürlich besonders an dem samtigen Mundgefühl. Ansonsten nicht viel los an der irischen AleFront. Stoutlastig, solide und mit guter Trinkbarkeit ausgerüstet.

SarkyNorthener (4676) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2017
Bottle thanks to mother in law. Chestnut beer with medium head. Aroma of caramel, malts, earth and autumn leaf. Taste is earthy, yeast, caramel, malts and a little smoke. Decent.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 En medelmåtta bland irländsk öl. Red Ale-smaker som är moderata och ger ingen större upplevelsen

Draught @ Albion. Clear brown with reddish tint against the light, creamy beige head, fruity caramel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter roasted malt taste, smooth body, long roasted malt finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

janubio (883) - SPAIN - JUN 20, 2017
Amber colour,, small head witih medium retention and minimum lace. Aroma of caramel and red fruits, bust mostly lime and sulphur. Medium body, with thick textures and averages carbonation. Astringent finish. Taste is somewhat medicinal, with red fruits and caramel. Sulphur. Sorry, but I can’t nothing exceptional in this one to make me repit it.

3.2
BeerRenter76 (1019) - Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2017
Originally rated on 12/18/08. An irish red but it had a brown body? a thick tan cap that quickly disappated. Aromas and flavors of sweet malts, caramel, and a light touch of smoke, some hops made a brief apperance. Overall it was o.k., but kinda average.
