Bottle @ The Bull & Castle. Appearance: Pitch black, oily, small brown/yellow head. Aroma: lots of iron & rust up front, tons of dark fruit, raisins, plums, blueberries, quite a tart aroma with a dash of smoke in there too. Lovely. Flavour: Super bitter, lots of raisins, tangy copper, very decent alcoholic bite with a great smoke finish. Delicious. Bottle 0,5L. BeerBier, Budapest. Stout with its creamy beige head. Smells like coffee and chocolate, tastes likes fizzy fruity drink. Redfruits what I mean. It could be thicker, but a very intensive stout. Good one. Beersiveknown (5291) - NORTHERN IRELAND - SEP 9, 2012

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2014 Small bottle. Very dark body, tall tan head. Aroma has rich coffee, roasted nuts, chocolate cake, smoked almonds, dark toffee. Taste has the same and then even more sweet roast and burnt sugar in the finish. So tasty and well balanced - this is a tremendous stout! KnutAlbert (6753) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 18, 2014
