COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
True to it’s name, “Leann Folláin” being the Gaelic for “wholesome stout”, our full-bodied extra Irish stout is a fantastic example of how good stout can taste. Flavours of dark chocolate tones with a hint of vanilla combine with the mild mocha aroma. Opaque black in appearance with a tan head, this luxurious stout has a classic European hop bitterness giving a refreshing bite after the chocolate subsides.

Bottle @ The Bull & Castle. Appearance: Pitch black, oily, small brown/yellow head. Aroma: lots of iron & rust up front, tons of dark fruit, raisins, plums, blueberries, quite a tart aroma with a dash of smoke in there too. Lovely. Flavour: Super bitter, lots of raisins, tangy copper, very decent alcoholic bite with a great smoke finish. Delicious. A real shining star amongst the Irish craft brew scene

Bottle 0,5L. BeerBier, Budapest. Stout with its creamy beige head. Smells like coffee and chocolate, tastes likes fizzy fruity drink. Redfruits what I mean. It could be thicker, but a very intensive stout. Good one.

Bottle at Reuben’s, thanks! Pours dark ruby tinged brown with foamy tan head. Aromatic pipe tobacco, chocolate and a touch of lactose on the nose. Full bodied with fairly vigorous carbonaton, dry roast barley up front with a touch of malt astringency finishing with malt chocolate and caramel.

Bottle. Black color, medium creamy head. Aroma was little bit spicy, but more like coffee aroma. Dark coffee without sugar in taste, chocolate tones, little bit smoky notes. Bitter finish. Good.

O’haras christmas velvet. Sort med høyt lys brunt skum, legger seg fort men blir der. Karamell og brent kaffelukt. Medium bitter. Noe merkelig blomsteraktig smak, jord morsomt! Medium- kullsyre.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2014 Small bottle. Very dark body, tall tan head. Aroma has rich coffee, roasted nuts, chocolate cake, smoked almonds, dark toffee. Taste has the same and then even more sweet roast and burnt sugar in the finish. So tasty and well balanced - this is a tremendous stout!
