Cinnamon, fresh orange juice and coconut were added to this juicy Amber Ale to spice it up for the long winter nights. The hops and yeast lend a fruitiness that compliments the spice additions. Dual purpose Northern Brewer hops add to the spicy taste.

Cinnamony aroma, cinamony taste, but actually a pretty drinkable. Fruity malts, some raisins. Fairly easy drinker, very spicy, but not stupidly so.

Hermod (8983) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JAN 26, 2017
Tap @ Rotterdam. Poured amber color with a thin white head. Marzipan, cherry notes, papery notes. Kinda like the cherry thing here. Light bodied. Chemical notes somehow

Winter star rye pale ale. Pours clear dark orangey with small white head. Good looking beer. Tasty, some fruitiness and spices- possibly cinnamon - pretty Christmassy flavour.

thewolf (13140) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2017
Bottle, [email protected], Middelfart. Pours clear golden amber with a small, staying, frothy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, caramel, light doughy, herbs and spice, mild citrus. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, lots of vanilla, coriander, light cinnamon. Light spicy rye. Fairly bitter finish. A bit of a strange beast.
