COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pale orange with a nice foamy head. Sweat wheet flavour with hints of fruit

The bottled beer (5.80%): Nice cloudy orange colour. Wheaty, sweetness in the nose. Wheaty, sweet flavour. Medium-bodied.

CapFlu (5129) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 2, 2002
A slightly cloudy wheat beer from Denmark. Beautiful when obtained on tap. The head on my beer didn't look like that but the flavours were much richer than you'd find in North America.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2004 Re-rate: Boring. The draught is a better than the bottled version for sure. Both: Very carbonated. Watery flavor with lots of yeast. Wheat-flavor quite dominating. Not recommendable.

Ungstrup (38139) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2002
Nice cloudy dark yellow color and if poured right a nice head. An aroma of yeast and a nice flavor of yeast and wheat malt. Definatly a beer I drink again and again.

LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2002
Nice golden colour with a big white head. Pleasant fruity aroma. The flavour is quite refreshing and somewhat sweet as the style "demands". IMHO far better than Tuborg Classic Hvede, but inferior to Brøckhouse Wit.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2003 This is one of the better wheat beers I've tried. It does'nt have the heavy wheat taste, which the wheat beers of Germany have, but it's still full of taste and some power.

mwesth (279) - Skovlunde, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2002
Nice wheat beer, fresh and fruity. A bit weak taste for as strong a beer. ..

3.2
madsberg (11774) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2003 Draught and bottled: Great 'wheat' colour, and a distinct fruit aroma. Has a not too overwhelming flavour. The aftertaste unfortunately dies too quick, but it dosn't alter the overall impression. Rated as draugth. Bottled deduct 0.5 - 0.8 points.

Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2003 Very refreshing. One of the 4 contestens in the Carlsberg beer selection 2003. Maybe it will stay on the market on bottle. It is a wise alternative to Tuborg's.
