UPDATED: NOV 13, 2006 Bottle. Golden color, slightly unclear with a white head. Some banana aroma and hops with citrus and coriander also part of the aroma experience. Yeast and malt notes are also present. Medium bodied, with medium bitter-sweet flavor. Reasonable attempt to make a Hefeweizen I thought. Very drinkable.

Hazy golden color with a white head. The taste is light wheat, with slight fruity and yeasty notes. Watery and boring. Very plain and one dimensional

Bottle. White high and lasting head. Hazy orange body. Banana aroma. Flavor dominated by a heavy carbonation and a good deal of dry hops.

Golden, unclear, tall white head. Yeasty aroma with notes of bread. Mild yeasty flavour with more bread. Fruit? Hides the ABV well.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2010 Here is an ordinary weizen with the usual aroma. The taste seemed a little artificial and rubber-like at first, but not at all in the second beer I had luckily bought. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that this beer is unfiltered - it is actually quite rare for a Carlsberg! Fruity taste too, with hints from the yeast. Medium, but correctly hopped taste. Surprisingly invisible alcohol-taste. Medium length aftertaste with yeast, fruity notes and hops. Not impressive, but a good beer - especially for a macrobrew. I could easily be caught buying this one on a hot summerday if I wanted to buy a non-expensive beer which also could be enjoyed at the same time.

Draught at the Jacobsen pub in the Carlsberg visitors center in Copenhagen, Denmark. Shady orange color, white head. Fruity scent, refreshing fruity taste. High mouthfeel, low bitterness. Didn’t feel like much a wheat beer.

elektronikfagtekniker (891) - kbh, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2006
tap. murky yellow color. very carpy. does not taste of much more than factory wheat.

Aroma is like any international lager (!). Served freezingly cold with a minor head. Some bananas in there. Refreshing summers drink, but no other qualities.

joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2006
Draught. Hazy yellow coloured with a huge and lasting white head. Aroma of malts, fruits and wheat. Flavour of malts, wheat and fruits. Light hoppy finish.
