This is not beer, but complete and utter bull sh*t. Carlsberg has done a whole lot of market research and product testing to create this concoction that appeals only to those who do not like the taste of beer. Apparently there are a lot of people who want to drink beer, but do not like it, and they have now been targeted. I wanted to give Copenhagen a fair chance, even though I know that they had tried to make a beer with as little beer taste and characteristics as possible. I used my best glass and poured it nicely chilled. The foam was white and fizzy, and completely evaporated in a matter of seconds with a loud sparkling candy kind of hiss and crackle. There was no lacing. The aroma was not present. It smelled as if the glass was empty. Well done, considering what Carlsberg is trying to achieve with this product. The taste can best be described as extremely flat and shockingly bland. In a blind tasting I might mistake this for a sparkling mineral water. And that is no joke. Congratulations Carlsberg! You have managed to sink even lower. Money matters much more to you than craftsmanship, tradition, culture, quality and … beer. Good luck with selling beer to the kids

It is a beer that has very bubbly carbonation, and its flavor is slightly vinous to white wine, with a little hop aroma emphasizing that it is beer. The taste is very clean and without any hint of malt.

Bottle 0.33l at Hemingways, Vantaa. Originally rated 06042012. Colour is clear and very pale yellow with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Water and some distant hints of beer. This is plain stupid.

Yorker (1979) - Herning, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2013
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear completely pale yellow (it’s almost unfair to call it yellow) with a white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is grains, rice, and perhaps the tiniest hint of citrus. Flavour is quite anonymous (there’s certainly more going on in the aroma) but there are subtle hints of rice and grains. Watery and incredibly bland.

Bamsen78 (5336) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear, very pale yellow with extravagant but unstable white head. Clear, appalling aroma of skunk and cardboard. Sourish, a little citrusy, skunky flavour. Sourish and paperlike aftertaste. When will brewers learn that it is NOT a good idea to pour beer into clear, transparent bottles?

zacgillbanks (5128) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2012
Bottle from b&m, Chester-le-Street. A pale straw coloured beer with a very light malty and sherbet fruity flavour and a sweet sugary finish.
