From old tasting notes. Bright Amber red color. Rocky beige head. Faint fruity malt nose. Dryish toasted malt flavor lacks depth or character. Sweet malty middle. Brief dry finish. Uninteresting and disappointing.

"a drinkable brew. nice maltiness (nutty?) to it, but it’s pretty thin and otherwise boring. better than other CB beers, though."

Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a red amber with a small head. Aroma of malt. Taste of malt and then some hops come in. This light bodied brew is pretty darn tasty. S_Side_Smitty (766) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Pours red amber with a thin white head. Smells like Killians. Tastes like a watered down version of Killians (Irish Red - gotta be specific with these things). There is, however, a rather pleasant light malt flavor that lingers in the finish. Easy to drink. jtclockwork (16436) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2010
Pours dark red in the glass. Nose and taste of malts, malts and more malts. Rated 7/10/2000

120z bottle. Poured dark red color with a prominent off white head that lingers, quite decent lace. Malty aroma with alcohol notes. Taste is very smooth with lots of slightly sweet malt flavor, caramel, and mild bitter hops, strong alcohol taste in the otherwise clean finish..
BREWMUSKCLES (2671) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2008
red and fruit punch in apple nose with a toffee roasted and light soap and metal like hops character.moderately intense effervescence. it is less intense when imbibed. modertate body mainly due to large vibrant carbonation that seems to make a nuisence of itself but actually may offer needed distraction. taken from time to time in the 22 oz can. it is dark red. clean red color, whispy head, malty aroma, good hop flavor that warms to a tartness then a bitterness for an aftertaste

Bottle. Pours a nice red-brownish colou with an average lasting head. Nice aroma of hops and toasted malt with caramel, which is even more profound in the flavour along with a nice soft fruitiness. Good mouthfeel. The aftertaste is long lasting and just so pleasant. Brewed in Canada on licence by permission from Carlsberg. Great amber beer. Why is this tasty beer not brewed in Denmark?
