English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

Bottle - Smells like a strong cider with a bit of grain. Clear yellowish with a thick persistent head. Tastes like a crappy cider, not too sweet and tasteless. Surprised how tasteless a beer of this strength can be.

cagou007 (1155) - FRANCE - JUN 23, 2017
Pours clear golden with medium white head. Nose is fruity esters. Aromas are sweet malts, fruity esters. Average carbonation, medium body. Short boozy and fruity finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not to bad under the right circumstanes, but a rather powerful lagerstyle beer.Packs 7.2% alc vol and it is quite easy drinkable when served cold.If served lukewarm, it is way to tick and malty. A small glass of jeagermeister with this one is a summertime moment for me.

Clear, golden colour poured from the can. Sweet malt on the nose. Similar malty flavour that is quite light on the palate considering the ABV.

Maits (429) - ESTONIA - JUN 2, 2017
Clear amber beer with some little thick white head. Aroma is full of malts with metallic notes. Taste is mild sweet malty, grass and some alcohol in background. Overall drinkable.

mviljamaa (158) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAY 24, 2017
Pours with a good fluffly head. Color is clear and bright lager. Aroma is malty and has typical lager aromas. Typical bulk lager hoppiness. Palate is fairly well balanced and pleasant. Has both dry and oily components. This has the normal Carlsberg taste, but is noticeably stronger, more alcoholic and richer. It’s certainly a "better" Carlsberg and not bad at all.

Goldgelb, ölig mit schwacher Blume! Malzig metallischer Geschmack, starke Alknoten. Zum Wegballern gut geeignet, hat aber wenig mit Genuss zu tun!

Bottle from Liquor Barn. It’s not good, but it’s drinkable. Way too malty for my taste.

gripweed57 (2308) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - APR 16, 2017
From old tasting notes. Deep gold color. Rocky white head. Light fruity tart aroma with a metallic background. Big flavorful sweet malt palate has noticeable hops. Heavy mouthfeel and noticeable alcohol prescence. Bittersweet finish and aftertaste.

Zilb (307) - Fontenay Sous Bois, FRANCE - MAR 21, 2017
Val thorens ucpa 2017. Ambrée petit col de mousse bonne tenue. Carbo moyenne. Légère amertume finale. Un petit goût métallique léger. Une biere industrielle standard.

Evilman (236) - Taverny, FRANCE - MAR 15, 2017
Outrageous and I know my shit when it comes to outrageous drinks. I expected something uninteresting, I ended up with some cancerous liquid put in a can. Awful aroma and bitterness, not sure what’s wrong with this one, it was acid as fuck, and in a very bad way. Hints of petrol and oil, piss-like aftertaste. Fuck this was bad. Really. Even served cold. There’s worse but don’t count me in to buy this shit again. DISAPPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!
