English: Carlsberg Elephant Beer is an amber-coloured beer with big intensity in its aroma, and with a distinct maltyness. There is notes of honey in the aroma. The palate of Carlsberg Elephant shows a good balance between a good body from the alcohol, and a discrete sweetness which is tamed by the sophisticated bitterness of the aftertaste.

500mL can found in the ’closeout’ bin post Saint Patrick’s Day. I don’t know how it got mixed in with a bunch of UK beers...but another interesting beer to try on the cheap. Makes me remember Carlsberg beers consumed in Malawi as a Peace Corps volunteer and think back that none of them were this bad. It’s just a lot of alcohol in a golden yellow delivery product. I’d rather drink an IPA with the same abv if alcohol was the only reason to drink.

Pours hazy pale golden with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains ’wet malt’, corn, grain, some hops and citrus, and sweat. It tastes medium sugary sweet and light grainy bitter, with an astringent, alcoholic finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Only drinkable when it’s ice cold, but then again, it’s far from enjoyable and completely redundant.

Kjpt p tax free p color fantasy. Pilsnerfarget med fint skum. Mye hy og karamell i bde smak og duft. Fin munnflelse. Bedre enn jeg husket den.

Yes it has some taste, but also way to much taste of alcohol. Fou young people who wants to be special and those who only have one need in the world!

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2017 Alcohol dominant with a malt underlayer. A generic superstrong with a crisp, light body. A Clear White thick head that does not stay, merges into the beer sooner than expected.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2017 Strong lager - actually tasted almost acceptable ice cold from the fridge, but nothing to rush out and drink again.

11.2 ounce bottle. Clear golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of skunk and wet paper. The taste is pale malt, grass, skunk. Thin. Meh, but at least I finally ticked this.

Ritzn (1534) - GERMANY - JUL 13, 2017
Aroma is metallic straw and bitter alcoholic. Taste is alcoholic metallic bitter grains. Very bad and undrinkable.
