COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlsberg Export has been 4.8% abv in the UK since January 2012

Deep golden with a tight head, aroma is sweet. Taste of sweet malt/grain bready with a gentle bitter balance. Easy drinkable standard lager.

Atom (2418) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 1, 2017
Bottle pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Dry grain malt and grassy dry hop aroma. Taste of caramel and grain malt with light bitter hops. Non offensive euro macro, not bad but not interesting or unique.

This is really disappointing. Sweet, no body, no length, no bitterness. Utterly tedious. im not sure I can finish the tin. This is going into the Visitors Reserve. Probably the best? Kidding me. Possibly the Worst! I notice carlsberg uk are coy about where it’s made - "EU" covers a lot of ground.

From old tasting notes. Deep honey gold color. Bubbly white head. Sweet malty aroma. Fruity malt flavor with some hops. Dry finish. Tangy aftertaste.

clear golden colour with thick white gead, aroma is very weak, malty, tastes malty, sweetish with low bitterness.

Bottle. This really tastes like a sort of malty, hoppy-ish liquid that is purely to encase a bit of alcohol. Once you penetrate the mildly beer-ish exterior, you’re awash with all that the 4.8% alcohol can throw at you. It’s not necessarily abhorrent, but it’s pretty bad stuff.

On tap for the pre-game warming. Bière commerciale comme tant d’autres. Classique.

AlpIrez (8) - Istanbul, TURKEY - MAR 24, 2017 does not count
Bottle from Systembolaget Östersund. Not a lot of taste at first, but then a fair amount of sweetness came though. Mouthfeel was less than impressive. Very light and watery

ArtificialCyst (1140) - Szczecin, POLAND - MAR 21, 2017
Can from an Italian supermarket. Aroma: Corny malts, some hay. Appearance: Golden body, no head. Taste: Sweet, corny, hay. Palate: Sweet finish, medium carbonation, medium-low body.

2.2
Graham77 (514) - SCOTLAND - MAR 19, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2017 Pint can at 4.8% ABV. Aroma is very fruity for a mass produced lager (hop extract?) the taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter.
