COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Carlsberg Export has been 4.8% abv in the UK since January 2012

Bottle 33 cl. UK version as "Carlsberg Export": I thought this would only be a slightly modified version from the standard Danish version, but instead I find an incredibly flowery smelling beer. The excellent hops remain in focus all the way through to the palate leaving also a pronounced bitterness. Fully golden with a decent head. A very nice surprise. 120404

Man ska inte lita på en smal kock. Det är därför danskarna brygger så kompetent lager. Over and out.

Originally rated on 9/6/08. Average mid yellow body, little carbonation, head that disappates rapidly, and leaves slightly spotty lace. Flavor is not bad but nothing special either, kinda sweet. At least it wasnt suffering from the skunky green bottle curse. A decent beer.

Bottle from Systembolaget Östersund. Not a lot of taste at first, but then a fair amount of sweetness came though. Mouthfeel was less than impressive. Very light and watery

Deep golden with a tight head, aroma is sweet. Taste of sweet malt/grain bready with a gentle bitter balance. Easy drinkable standard lager.

With an appointment by the Roayl Danish Court this Danish beer has a simple wheaty aroma and pours dark golden brown with a smooth frothy head. It has a light sweet taste that is more refreshing then it is flavorful.

jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle 275ml, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on sweet malt, aroma is sweet on malt with corn sugar notes and a round hopy and grassy finish. Quite drinkable and properly balanced, not a top pilsner but a hopy easy going lager.
