Bottled at PBF. Clear golden, no head. Buttery nose. Sweet with light-medium body. Clean, hard mouthfeel. Some buttery/cellary flavour, but in typical carlsberg manner they fail on he most essential step - you can’t make a pilsener sweet and rock hard!! The lacquer in terms of hops is just surface, and can’t save it from being sterile, dull and highly unrefreshing. Rasmus40 (20435) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 28, 2011
Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Light bitter finish. 101010 fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2008
Hazy golden color, thin head, persistent because of the continuous perlage. The aroma is too light, but there is some more malt flavor than in an ordinary Lager, imparting to the beer a round body; also the bitterness level is respectable, but missing the Saaz that a Pilsner should have. Simple.
