Good aroma of honey and light taste of coriander. Golden color with small head. Fair hoppiness. Terminus (3721) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 15, 2004
tap at brewpub-pours a nice blonde hue with minimal white head-aroma is sweet with some fruity notes-flavors are sweet, but not like honey. the honey adds a sweet malt element that goes along with the earthy hops in this one. another good brew from this brewery! gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2007
Got this one in a growler at the brewpub. Dark yellow pour with a thin, white head. TheEnemy (564) - Chicago, USA - JAN 22, 2006

Clear straw-gold with thin, quickly vanishing head. Faint aroma of grassy hops and coriander. Flavor is a pleasant surprise thanks to the subtle but effective coriander spice kick. Sweet malt and light honey touch join in shortly afterward, wrapped up by a light hop bitterness. Thinnish body & mouthfeel as one might expect from the style. The coriander is a brilliant touch that adds flair to this otherwise workaday style.
On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear golden with a thin head, the aroma is sweet with a good amount of grain and a little bit of fruit, the flavor has some fruit and orange on the front end with a sweet finish, wow, this one actually surprised me a little bit, not bad.

Sampler. So I get to add the rating that gives this beer a ranking. I feel the weight of both power and responsibility! Here goes: a bit of lace in the glass (in fact, all the samplers I tasted showed good head retention and a bit of lace). Light coriander note as promised, but not too much. Additionally, I detect a slight weizen style banana nose. Pretty good, even though it’s still in the light range. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2009
Arrived from tap a nice clear, golden color with a thick, bubbly head that quickly fades down to a film. Aroma is has a light noble hops note, light caramel, sweet fruity note with some light honey undertones but the overall aroma is pretty light. Flavor starts off with a slight watery floral hop flavor, light vanilla, light honey with a smooth light malt note. Low density and carbonation, no lacing is left on the glass and the overall flavor is modest but quickly disappears. Overall a good brew and one that is hard to offend. Perfect for a few pints due to the low alcohol and pretty decent flavor for a light brew. StewardofGondor (2088) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 8, 2005
Translucent yellow-gold in color with a solid sheet of off-white for the head. Aroma is honey, hops and carnations with a hint of vanilla and anise. Crisp and sweet at first touch. Honey really plays a matchmaker game here with the hops, but somehow the honey is going stag by the finish. Some resin/lemon traits and bread like crispness. Light and sleek, and not a bad starter beer. JFGrind (2072) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2005
Golden honey ale, that I’m surprised is listed here as an amber. Minimal bitterness, it reminded me of a George Killians Irish Honey. Nothing groundbreaking happening here. TheGuy (920) - Illinois, USA - AUG 3, 2008
