Originally produced for the wholesaler LWC Jollys at the, now defunct, Ring O Bells brewery in Cornwall. After the closure of Ring O Bells, Jollys changed the branding of a number of the bottled beers to Carn Brea and moved production (via Keltek) to Hepworth. The recipes may differ from the originals.

Scuttled is made with a blend of Pale, Crystal and Black barley, with good English hops.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Copper to brown with slight head. Sweetish, slightly sugary beer with some roasted malt depth, fruity, plum, peach, some hop character, leafy but doesn’t cut through the sweetness. Reasonable.
