COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Bottle (750 ml). Shared by cparles, thanks Chris! Dark brown with a medium beige head and some lacing. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt, light bourbon and some dark fruits. Taste is very similar to the aroma with a little more caramel and less bourbon. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A bit straigtforward, but not bad. Balance is good. Decent. 7-3-7-3-14. EDIT: Had this one again at Akkurat. Shared by a very nice local customer. Way better than last time I had it. More depth in both the aroma and taste. Bourbon was still quite present. It held up really well. Very good bourbon barrel-aged Porter. Nice balance.

courtesy of Per - very dark brown beer under a creamy and long lasting dark beige foam; roasted malty and black chocolatey aroma; notes of black cherries and vanilla too; full-bodied and with some sweetness; residual sugers in a long chocolatey finish with more roasted malts and vanilla; hints of warming alcohol - a beautiful dessert beer
