COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Carnegie special porter. Thanks timo! 750ml bottle... Pours a Somewhat flimsy cola brown hue, mostly transparent and topped with a thin frothy light beige head... Vanilla, paper, caramel, with light oxidation. Perhaps a touch of butter... Flavors are more cola and chocolate with hints of vanilla, dark fruits, and a milder bourbon barrel presence. Somewhat thin bodied but a nice semi-sweet profile. 7/3/8/3/14

Bottle. Pours deep brown nearly black with a small creamy light tan head. Aroma is nicely chocolate with some soft roasty notes, plenty of earthy woody notes, some bourbon that sits nicely balanced, a touch of dark fruit. Flavor is much the same, big chocolate and woody presence, the bourbon is there but not overpowering, dark fruits. Medium to medium full body and a soft carbonation. Good classic porter with just the right amount of bourbon
