One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews. Carnegie Porter was brewed for the first time in 1836 and tastes the same today as it did then. Carnegie Porter has a creamy head with a scent of coffee. Its sweet and wellrounded flavor is balanced by the bitterness of the hops. Storage helps the flavor mature and enhances its harmony.

SB Oskarshamn, flaska. 2015 lite dammsmak men inte arom. Håller stilen. Spritsig. Lite tunn i tonen. Svagt humlad. Men en klassiker.

Very good porter. Flavorful, yet clean and crisp. Underlying roasted malt was complimented nicely with hints of coffee and molasses. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour under a rocky light tan head, giving an aroma of dry dark cocoa, a touch of lactose, and a roasty touch of coffee. The flavor is a bit dry, a little acrid and very roasty and dark-malty. Slight coffee and chocolate malts throughout but it’s mostly dry and roasty and a wee kiss creamy.
