Bottle: Filtered.
One of Michael Jacksons 500 Classic Brews. Carnegie Porter was brewed for the first time in 1836 and tastes the same today as it did then. Carnegie Porter has a creamy head with a scent of coffee. Its sweet and wellrounded flavor is balanced by the bitterness of the hops. Storage helps the flavor mature and enhances its harmony.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2017 Bottle at Tria, Philly. Dark but not black. Tan head. Hint of roast in the nose. Nice roast in flavor, burnt but slight. There is a stream of sweet that balances the dark malts. Real nice, robust and flavorful without being too big and alcoholic.
