UPDATED: FEB 12, 2017 Dark brown colour with no head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some herbs, but for that abv. is too watery. An average craftmanship. Iznogud (4069) - CROATIA - NOV 20, 2014
Bottle from Ljubljana, Slovenia. Pours dark brown with beige head. Roasted malty aroma. For some reason it’s sour. Probably something wrong with it. fugitive (2028) - Athens, GREECE - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle. Color dark brown with very small white head. Aroma roasted, malt, some chocolate. Taste roasted, malt, chocolate. ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 23, 2014
Bottle from Kita, thanks! Nice aroma of chocolate liqueur with notes of vanilla and coffee. The aroma is once again spoiled by an aggressive, tart yeastiness that more or less demolishes the flavour. Please guys, quality control is the key, this beer has potential. Sissio (1722) - Orsenigo, ITALY - JUN 20, 2014
Bottle at Petkovsek in Ljubljana
Clear dark brown, almost no head
Tastes a little too much about melassa. Roasted malts, not so balanced

Pours with a dark brown color and an average cream colored head.
The aroma is a combination of roasted malts, coffee and caramel, also some chocolate.
Start is characterized by sweet roasted malts, followed by decently bitter body, some caramel and coffee in there. Bitter finish.
As all Carniola’s beers, pleasantly drinkable and tasty, although a bit more forgetable than some others. Could be just me.

Bottle 0,50L. Dark brown, almost black colour with small creamy, light brown head. Aroma of strong dark coffee dominate, but there are also caramel, roasted malts and molasses. Taste is suprisingliy light acidic and so is the aftertaste. I didn’t expect it. Watery texture with light to medium body and lively carbonation. I will follow this beer and re-rate it after a while. smaccek (3) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - SEP 21, 2013 does not count
A decent performer overall but a bit flat. The texture is on the thin side and the finish is bitter. It’s got a caramel note but not strong enough for my taste. ogivlado (7955) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 5, 2013
On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva, Slovenia. Dark brown coloured, small pale beige head, mild roasty nose. Roasted malt, mild chocolate and some dried fruits with mild bitterness in the finish. Also some hops presence but quite subdued. Not bad at all. Kita (2210) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAR 18, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2013 Re-rated: On tap at Cameral Beer Fest in Koper. Hazy dark brown color with thin creamy brownish head and fair lacing. Aroma is strong, mainly consists of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, mild coffee notes and dried fruits, Taste starts with dark chocolate and sweet roasted malt. Following is refreshing with dried fruits, molasses and mild coffee. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. This time certainly not spoiled, everything completely in order...
First Rating from 18.03.2013: Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy dark brown color with very thin frothy brownish head and lively bubbles. Aroma is strong, mainly consists of roasted malt, caramel and some earthy or even sweaty notes. I also noticed dry fruits, molasses and alcohol in the aroma. Taste starts fresh and sour fruity, followed by sweet molasses and mild roastiness, although sourness still prevails in the mouthfeel. Aftertaste is thicker malty, but no presence of hops, which I would guess it’s quite appropriate for the style, however, I would still prefer more hops. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. It was a great expectation, but only partial satisfaction. I might agree with Marko; I would expect such sourness in some sour / wild ale, but not here. Somethin wrong with that batch, too? Other characteristics are acceptable, but definitely need to re-rate it again to exclude spoiling factor.
