Bottle. Poured a medium clear amber with a very small fizzy head that was fully diminishing and had no lacing. The aroma was very concentrated with strawberry’s and had a mild hint of sweet yeast and a light sweet malt. It tasted lightly bitter and mildly sweet in the beginning and finished with a sweet-sour flavor that was loaded with the taste of strawberrys. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a lively carbonation. Overall the brew was OK but really not worth drinking again.
So this is definitely not retired... it’s not sweet like a lot of fruit beers, but the strawberry doesn’t really complement the beer. They function as two disparate flavors that don’t mingle. steveie1 (1) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 12, 2012 does not count

Bottle shared by Dogbrick. Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Nose consists of buttered popcorn and strawberry. Flavor is of strawberry Nesquik; very creamy and full of strawberry. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 2, 2012
Sample at OH! Growlers! Tasting on 01/31/2012: Bottle from a BBQ place at the Charlotte airport. The beer is a pale orange color with a thin white head that dissolves quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Sweet strawberry and malt in the nose. Light body with a strawberry Creme Saver flavor. Some malt in the mix too. The finish is almost cloyingly sweet with a strawberry aftertaste. Slightly below average overall. I have mixed feelings as this is the beer that put me in the Ratebeer Top 100 for the first time ever. Cybercat (5737) - Georgia, USA - JAN 13, 2012
Strong aroma is almost totally of sweet strawberry, with just a hint of malt. It pours a rather nice clear dark amber with a thick ivory white head. Strawberry dominates the flavor, which is otherwise just malty, OK if not exciting. Body is average, and so is the fizz. Not their best, but worth a try if you like strawberries.

Bottle. Why did I buy this? Amber color smell of strawberry and taste is same, gross. Weak wmubronco1992 (709) - Coldwater, Michigan, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Bottle. Pours a redish amber. Medium sized off white head. Mild strawberry aroma. Taste of the same. The fact that it isn’t too sweet sets it apart from some fruity beers. I’m not a huge fruity beer fan, however this one was very easy drinking. italianjohn (3108) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Clear golden amber pour thin ring of white head ... aroma of sweet malts and strawberry .... taste of sweet malts and strawberry pretty balanced and not too tart or overbearing with a light bitter hop to it ... not a bad brew a simple summer beer pet3rman (375) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Refreshing little fruit beer.. Straight forward strawberry flavoring with decent ale backing.
