Can poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, graininess and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish. MKromhoutNC (6) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 4, 2017 does not count
Slightly metallic aftertaste - pretty color, but not going to make my favorites list

on tap at Grumpy Monks in Myrtle Beach - decent amber color. Slight hop aroma. Ok hop flavor. The American IPA is better. geologyguy (1602) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - SEP 14, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2016 Smells like normal IPA with mixed floral and citrus hops...but more towards floral..some floaties...first sip is pretty smooth on front end then gets just a bit bitter on back...light though...not bad...a little complexity...some pepper notes..waters down a bit after a few sips but hops remains...that?s unfortunate as they are quite bitter x2 OrthoDoc (189) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 3, 2016
First off, English style IPA is not my style. There's a reason American IPA's dominate. This one is all about the malt with a mild citrus in the back. Finishes with a moderate bitterness. Bland and tastes like an IPA past it's due date. WBA.

Poured from can purchased at Main Street Bottle Shop. Aroma of dry malt and hops. Amber with slight head. Tasting piney and grassy hops with dry malt, hay, yeast and spice. Has a dry, crisp feel. Very good IPA. hman43 (1588) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUN 16, 2016
It pours golden with orange tinges. The head is a creamy light orange. It has aromas of apricot, bread, and sugar. The are sweet flavors followed by some bitterness. The flavors are floral, bread, and sugary sweet. It has a light-medium feel to it and is moderately bitter with a bit of astringency. Overall, this is a balance beer with a slight edge on the hops. grundsow (130) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2016
Bitter and hoppy, but finishes harsh instead of smooth to me. Flavor is missing something interesting. Onslow (1495) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAR 10, 2016
Pour from a 12oz can. Aroma of moderate pine and citrus. Taste is light malt up front transitioning to a crisp hops bitter with lingering bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced and flavorful. Good IPA. malvrich (323) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JAN 8, 2016

A:Can poured large head of frothy texture that held for several minutes atop a clear pinkish gold body with big bubbles visibly active. Thick lace.
S: Malty sweet/tart dark fruit smell. Not much in the way of hop zing. Smells sort of like an Amber Ale IMO.
T: Smoky roast bitterness greets the tongue, nicely balanced by a slightly sweet toffee malt note. Very English in flavor.
M: Medium heavy on the mouth with a bit of astringent resinous finish but otherwise quite clean.
O: Pretty average English IPA I suppose. Body and flavor strike me as just about right for the ABV. Goes down pretty smoothly too. Nothing to really complain about but I guess I have become used to more American hop profiles now, as I would like another hop note to develop (not necessarily citrus) as this is a bit one-note. Overall I say "OK" but I’m not impressed.
