2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a nice copper/gold color. This didn’t really do it for me. Citrusy and hoppy, and would be refreshing if it weren’t so bitter. Just bit a little too hard for me. Fairly complex, I can see why some enjoy this. This won’t change your mind about IPAs if you aren’t a fan.
It pours copper with a medium copper with a medium tan head. Has a very sweet aroma with hip pops. The taste is medium to heavy sweetness with a light to medium bitterness. It has a light to medium body with a somewhat sticky texture and a somewhat yeast like finish. zoucrew102 (2143) - - APR 2, 2016
Bottle, thanks Christina! Grapefruit citrus hop aroma with caramel and slight floral hop notes. Pours light caramel colored with half a finger of off white head that as decent retention and good lacing. Starts with a lot of grapefruit acidity and hop flavors with some caramel sweetness. Finishes very smooth for an IPA with mild bitterness from floral hops. Decent IPA, but pretty standard. Terp1977 (69) - Frederick, Maryland, USA - JUL 30, 2015
A good IPA. Had in a bottle at Sharky's in Ocean Isle. A bit hoppy but good.

On tap last June in North Carolina. Clear amber pour with a thick white head. Malty and slightly earthy spices in the nose. Malty bread in the taste, mild. Some earthy bitterness in the finish as well. Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 18, 2013

Pours an amber color with very litle head. Doesn’t have a lot of taste or smell to it. Not very hoppy, which is not what i expect from an IPA. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 23, 2012

Pours a very dark amber/orange with just a paper thin off-white head on top. Tiniest bits of lace cling to the glass. The nose is much maltier than expected. Notes of toffee, bread, and crackers. Minor floral tones present, but overall this is weak for an IPA.
The body is moderate-to-full, with a good representation of carbonation. Flavor profile is average at best. There’s some bitterness present, but it’s rather bland and boring. No real depth to this. Some light malts balance it out, but the citrus and hoppy aspect is tamed down for sure. This is a really simple IPA. It’s not bad, but there are many, many more IPAs out there that I would get instead.
Bottle. Darker golden color medium tan head. Floral and earthy aroma from the hops, caramel and bread malt. Aroma a little more subtle then I expected. Taste is mild bitter and mild sweet. Finish is pretty mild bitter as well. Easy to drink, would be better with higher alcohol and more hops. Overall an average IPA.
