2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear gold with white head. Faint musty aroma. Watery feel with a mild citrus taste overbalanced with bitterness. Not overly bitter, just overbalanced bitter.
6 week old bottle > tulip
A: Poured a clear rich medium gold with short fast falling head, leaving a ring and some lace.
S: Bready aroma with leafy or grassy hop notes.
T: Crisp bitterness well balanced by mildly sweet caramel and toast. Not overly bitter nor sweet.
M: Light and crisply carbonated, finishing slightly sweet and resinous.
O: Good easy drinking fresh local ale. No world beater but you can do a lot worse. Good value too means worth buying. zoucrew102 (2058) - - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle, thanks Christina! Malty straw aroma with slight hints of floral and citrus hops and a bit of bread. Pours opaque golden colored with a thin white head with decent retention and lacing. Starts with a lot of straw and bready malt flavors. Finishes dry with slight citrus hop flavors and a bit of floral at the very end. Not bad, but pretty a standard pale. kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 5, 2014
Bottle at Mama Dips in Chapel Hill. Clear straw body. Similar to a standard macro beer. Slightly hoppy grassy aroma. OK taste. Slightly bitter. Grassy lemon flavor. ibrubeer (404) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Draft. Light Amber color. Low carbonation. Little aroma. Flavor is short, and a little light. Middle of the road beer. Not bad, but wouldn’t go out of my way for it. tbopslt (354) - New York, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Bottle from Lowes Grocery Store. Malty aroma. Small head. Slightly sour tasting. Not a bad beer though. Fairly drinkable.

From bottle. Pours a golden clear with white head that disappeared. Mostly earth malt and spicy hop and a little cardboard in the aroma. Taste was thin and dry. May have been an old bottle. Gooney (389) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 6, 2012
12 oz bottle - a bit of a sour aroma. Tastes a bit like grapes. This isn’t a bad beer, and I did drink several of them. It is just an average pale ale. Foxbush (2088) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 9, 2012
12 oz bottle. This was tasted at the Provisions Company in Holden Beach, NC. The pale ale poured a light yellow with a small head that stayed with the ale. There was a nice bitterness from start to finish. The ale could have more body. There was average carbonation. The finish was smooth with a sublte bitterness at the end. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Meh. It’s a standard pale ale. Nothing all that interesting about it, other than that it’s from a local brewery. Eh.
