Bottle. Pours dark brown thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and bit of citrus. Medium sweet taste. Medium-full body, slick texture, ave. carbonation, mild bitter hop finish. Overall all a pretty good porter.

Had on draft Pours a dark color with minimal off white head that doesnt last too long. Aroma is of roasted malt, but not much else. Flavor is initially bitter dry with minimal notes of coffee, roasted malt that seems very thin. Mouthfeel is thin overall with below average carbonation. Overall would not buy again but not bad.

Bottle from Sams Quik Shop. Pours clear, thinnish brown with a light beige head. Nose is nutty, slightly roasty, and citrus/resin. Taste shows lots of hops, almost like a malty black IPA. But super thin.

Pours dark amber chestnut in color with a small head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is sweet roasted malts. It starts out light and roasty in flavor and settles with nutty malty flavors and some bitter hops that are on top of light body.

Comes out of the tap a nice opaque dark-chocolate brown with a fairly thick light tan head that leaves some good lacing. Chocolaty aroma has smoky and coffee hints. Flavor is mainly chocolaty and has roast malt and coffee undertones, as well as just a hint of molasses. Texture is smooth and somewhat fizzy, leaving a chocolaty and slightly sweet finish.

Pours light brown, lots of light. Two fingers of sandstone tan head. Nose is lightly roasty, slightly nutty and toasty with a slightly herbal hop character. Flavor is nutty with a light grain bitterness and slight astringency. Some toasted malt and leafy hops.

Brown pour with medium tan head. Aroma of coffee and cocoa, hint of caramel, flavor is coffee and caramel, and sweet. Seems more of a sweet stout than porter, but I did enjoy it.

Bottle:   Dark brown, not as dark as I would have expected.   Moderate to thin foamy light beige head, spotty lacing.   Strong ground coffee nose, a little earthen.   Kinda reminds me of watered down coffee.   Kinda reminds me of watered down coffee on the tongue as well.   Very little roasted malt character, a smidgen of hop bitterness.   A little watery.   Not enough malts, a little on the thin side.   Slight sweet lactose like finish, lingering coffee bean shavings.   Tiz okay, could be a little meatier in the malt category.   Thanks for the bottle Tom!
