The beer looks delicious and has every thing a beer should have. On the eye the beer is black, by strong light reveals a nice dark brown color. The beer is to dark to see wether it’s clear or not. On top a rather rough grayish foam is formed. It collapses, leaving hardly any drape.
The smell of the beer is delicious. I smell strong aromas of roasted barley. I smell dark chocolate, licorice, caramel, toffee and a rather sweet coffee. I also smell some sweet herbal notes, some cinnamon. I like it, it’s in good balance. Hops aren’t very much present in the smell.
The taste is a little less. It’s unbalanced. I mainly taste a dry toasted malt aroma. It’s not extremely bitter, but it misses the sweet aspects that make the smell so good. The taste has nothing more. Quite a pitty compared to the smell.
The palate is also not great. Medium body and carbonation, thin texture and watery finish. There is a lot of room for improvement. The_Osprey (7984) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2017
January 2017 - 330ml bottle picked up at Carrefour La Rambla, Barcelona. As ’Carrefour Cerveza Negra’, 5%. Cola black with a red hue, foamy light brown head. Aroma is earthy, cola, sugary, some faint chocolate. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a bit frothy. Taste is rounded malt, cheap biscuits, quite a full-flavoured malt character. For the price, I’m not complaining. I mean it’s not a connoisseur’s beer but there’s nothing wrong with it. mikske79 (1666) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - OCT 30, 2016
Een lekkere geur, koffie-achtige geur
Donkere schuimkraag. De geur is redelijk slecht. Echt niet men ding. AndySnow (7621) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2016
How: Can.abirres (125) - Salamanca, SPAIN - SEP 24, 2016
Where: Carrefour, Torrevieja.
Appearance: Dark brown colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, caramel.
Body: Watery body, medium carbonation.
Flavour: Malt, caramel.
De color negra con reflejos rubíes y espuma color beige de baja retención, apenas un dedo de grosor. Métalica, apenas aroma ligero a malta tostada, bajos ésteres a café y frutos negros. Sabor a nada, sin cuerpo y sin gracia. Cerveza que deja mucho que desear, quizás el aroma es su único punto a destacar, eso si, echándole imaginación.

0.33 l can. Pours a black color with a lasting, oily beige head. It has no aroma, like, at all. Very watery roasted malts in taste. Lively carbonated, short bitter finishing. Meh. Ungstrup (37580) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2016
Bottled. A deep red beer with a beige head head. The aroma has notes of fruits and malt. The flavor is sweet fruits, malt, metal, leading to a bitter finish

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. BBF 07.14. Dark amber, tanned head that fizzes away almost instantly. Nose is sweet spoiled sugar, artificial table beer, beetroot, thin, spoiled sugar. Taste is spoiled beetroot, thin, rotting herbal, metallic, plastic, watery,… Thin plastic & watery body. Quite awful.
