COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brown Cow herds forth a complex biscuit and dark toast aroma. A beige head corrals this brilliant copper brown beer. Seven different malts with balancing hops round out the medium dry finish. Amazing! This Cow won’t steer you wrong.

Amber-brown with a thick head and a bready nose. Malty with a medium mouthfeel and a mildly bitter, bready, cola finish.

Brown Cow has a medium, creamy, beige head, a hazy, lighter brown appearance, some lone ascending bubbles, and heavy glass lacing. The aroma is of sweet, brown bread crust and light brown sugar. Malt, too. Taste is of char, brown bread crust, light caramel, light brown bread crust, and malt. Bitterness is present, but it's 1995 brown ale bitterness, meaning- no fruit. Mouthfeel is lower medium, and Brown Cow finishes medium dry. This is a benchmark brown ale. RJT

Pours a hazelnut brown. Somewhat hazy. Two finger white head. Pretty good retention, light lacing.

Aroma is nutty, malty, light chocolate. It’s very light, couldn’t smell anything until after I took a sip.

Taste is nutty, malty, light chocolate. A little prune.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little sharp. Pretty drinkable.

Overall, it’s about your average brown ale, maybe a little less. Nothing special. I wouldn’t buy it again, and I would not recommend it.

12oz can SpecialEd5388 who I think stole this from someone named Kenny. Poured a slightly dark orangey-amber with a foamy super light beige head. Aroma/flavor of dusty grains, chocolate malts, brown paper bag, nut shells. Watery mouthfeel with stingy carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste.

12oz can from Kenny. Pours a clear light brownish/dark Amber color with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of bad homebrew, hints of cocoa, toasted bread, and earthy hops. Taste is way better then the aroma. Notes of chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee, earthy hops, nuts, and yeast.

Pours cloudy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of coffee, nuts and malt. Bitter, roasty flavour of coffee beans, with sweetish malty notes and touches of fruit. Bitter and sourish finish.

12 ounce. Pours reddish brown with an average beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and fruit. Taste is caramel malt, fruit, floral, and a touch of chocolate. Pretty good.
