Pours a hazelnut brown. Somewhat hazy. Two finger white head. Pretty good retention, light lacing.dmac (6395) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Aroma is nutty, malty, light chocolate. It’s very light, couldn’t smell anything until after I took a sip.
Taste is nutty, malty, light chocolate. A little prune.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little sharp. Pretty drinkable.
Overall, it’s about your average brown ale, maybe a little less. Nothing special. I wouldn’t buy it again, and I would not recommend it.
12oz can SpecialEd5388 who I think stole this from someone named Kenny. Poured a slightly dark orangey-amber with a foamy super light beige head. Aroma/flavor of dusty grains, chocolate malts, brown paper bag, nut shells. Watery mouthfeel with stingy carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste. 12oz can from Kenny. Pours a clear light brownish/dark Amber color with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of bad homebrew, hints of cocoa, toasted bread, and earthy hops. Taste is way better then the aroma. Notes of chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee, earthy hops, nuts, and yeast. wombat23 (1621) - Texas, USA - APR 26, 2016

Pours cloudy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of coffee, nuts and malt. Bitter, roasty flavour of coffee beans, with sweetish malty notes and touches of fruit. Bitter and sourish finish. RobertDale (6663) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 12, 2016
12 ounce. Pours reddish brown with an average beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and fruit. Taste is caramel malt, fruit, floral, and a touch of chocolate. Pretty good. rollinsr (799) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 9, 2016
Pours light brown with two fingers of tan head. Aroma has dark fruit and apple esters with smoky nut character as well. Flavor is very smooth with mostly prune notes and sweet caramel.

Pours copper-brown with a big off-white head. Nose is strongly chocolate and brown sugar and a slight tart note. Flavor is less interesting, though chocolate definitely dominates the palate. Finish is fast. Nothing exceptional but certainly very drinkable and solid for a simple beer. ChainGangGuy (4909) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 23, 2015
16 ounce pour - $5.50 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, brown body with some ruby-tinted hues at the edges. Slim, ivory-colored head.
Smell: Caramel, brown sugar and cocoa atop toasted breadcrusts charred and burnt at the edges with some mild, lighter fruity hints underneath.
Taste: Toasted malts with nutty caramel and brown sugar. Lightly fruity, hint of raisin, and, maybe some cherries, too. There’s an underlying burnt roastiness that overrides the more pleasing ’brown ale’ tastes. Backdrop of floral hops and some light bitterness. Drying finish with that roastiness having latched on.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: While it’s not bad it’s not overly likable with the sustained roasted kick.
