1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can, alc. 4.5 %
Bought this from Liberia, Costa Rica, sampled lukewarm... Golden color, small white head. Sweet honeyish aroma mixed with grain and brewing cereals. Watery. Sweetish corn-like flavor. Hints of alcohol in the finish. Oily aftertaste. Flavors are fading away quickly.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Golden colour. The aroma and palate both show a shocking amount of cideryness, clearly an acetaldehyde issue. Grainy, watery, not much going on, which saves it from being truly offensive, and that’s all I the credit I can give it.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, 12oz. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a small, white head. Some lacings. The aroma is weak, with a little fruity touch and pale malts, and some hints of both yellow and green apples. Rather sweetish flavor with some corn-like hints, apples, a generic fruityness and some malty hints. Maybe a touch of bitterness too. Thin on the palate, feeling quite dry, and a bit too carbonated. Short fruity and corn-sweetish finish. It went down easily at the tex-mex restaurant, but I didn’t feel a need to have another one. 130830

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A: The pour is just about the same as many other beers of the same vain.
S: What a smell. Corn, cardboard, skunk, and grass. There is a little bit of a grain smell and a decent sweetness to it. Pretty bad, but I guess I’ve smelled worse.
T: A lot of corn with an astringent grain flavor to it. Skunky and a touch of metal is present as well. Some sour/tartness to it and a bit of grass.
M: The body is light with a moderate to high level of carbonation.
D: There are certainly worse beers out there, but this one is pretty bad and I could not recommend this one.
