Served on tap in a tulip glass
Appearance-The beer is served a hazed orange color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast to leave a lighter level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is sweet and spicy with the sweet being mainly of a fruity nature and the spice being strong of clove and a bit of coriander. A nice showing of a yeasty and flowery hop smell as well as a little bit of a bready smell are there as well, producing a very inviting smell overall.
Taste- The taste begins as the nose would have suggested with a good showing of fruit and a lighter level of a spice with the fruit being of a lighter variety with orange, apricot, and peach. As the flavor advances more spice and a good showing of yeast comes to the tongue really bringing on the more saison like flavors to the brew. A little bit of grass and a decently strong floral flavor develop later at the end, leaving one with a nice crisp and clean saison flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. For the style it is fantastic and matches the blend of yeast, fruit and spice very nicely.
Overall – This was really quite tasty and very drinkable saison. Crisp, refreshing, and flavorful. A fantastic one to try if you get a chance.

Tap @ brewpub. Pours a light orange color with a small sandy head. Nose is mild with hints of fruit, citrus, and lightly spiced. Flavor is mild, yet full. Citrus fruit, very little yeast, and just hints of spice. Nicely done. kyzr (1526) - Montana, USA - APR 12, 2009
Bright gold with big white head. Flower and spice on the nose. Flavor is sweet, flowery, with bits of citurs fruit and apple. Very clean and crisp with nice carbination. A great example of this style.
