Body is full and tangy. Citrusy, spicy hopes dominate the flavor with caramel malt and oranges provide support. Finish is long and very hoppy. Delicious brew. Smells like a cross between an Oktoberfest lager and a classic earthy east coast IPA. Caramel and pine resin a plenty. The pour is somewhat clear medium brown with blood red sneaking through in the light. The head is a soda/ macro-brew, soapy foam. Larger bubbles, less opaque, pale and certainly not creamy. Don't expect any lacing. The taste is quite refreshing. It's a little sweet, a little dry, and a little bitter, with a pleasant rye aftertaste. This is not the boldest beer Carton produces, but it may be their best balanced. A great and drinkable beer, that tastes like a beer! jcwattsrugger (12608) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 22, 2012

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Poured hazy ruby-orangy with off-white head. Nose was resiny hops, caramel malt, vinous fruit. Tasted very resiny, with pronounced citrus fruity notes, pine, and a smooth and intense finishing flavor. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - MAY 4, 2012
