COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The inspiration here is childish adults and mature children becoming wiser through the fundamental genius of a power chord. The motley crew of Carton Brewing, The Happy Hour Guys, the cast of School of Rock, and Sing For Hope all joined together to make a powerful, yet simple hedonistic beer that would resonate with the rock that Dewey loves. Aromas evoke shiny black leather, cheap berry lip gloss, and aerosol hairspray, all laying on the driving rhythm of an American Black Ale’s bass. Proceeds for this beer will support Sing for Hope. Drink School of Hops ’cause rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme.

Level 42 bottleshare. Santa is flying past and below! Thanks to Leighton for the can. Clear deep amber beer, patchy thin pale tan head. Palate is smooth but pretty dry and has modest carbonation. Smooth dry dark malts, some roasty bitterness. Tangy fruits and ripe citrus. Pine and mild hop skunk. Light semi dry finish. Tasty beer but the palate is thin and dry.

Can at level 42, thanks to Leighton. It pours near black with a thick tan head. The aroma is soft, sweet, a bit dank, treacle, cola, dried fruits, plum and Dandelion & Burdock. The taste is slick, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, roasted grass, earthy, treacle, plum, D&B, cocoa, varnish and a touch of spice. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. If anything I would say it should be more bitter and less sweet for the style. Drinks easy anyway, so no qualms.
