I tried to grab a half growler of this at Whole Foods but the line was messed up so they gave me a quarter growler free of charge which is nice. Pours black with purplish head. On tap at the Mexican Food Factory. Aroma of tart black cherry, chocolate, and port. Pours deep black with a wispy small head. Taste was sour cherry, chocolate, molasses, and Dr. Pepper. Cool beer. Draft at whole foods. Pours black with a medium sized tan head. The aroma is really just roasty with a bit of coffee grind. The taste is tart lemon in top of a nice roasty stout.. There is a bit of milk chocolate and a bit of bitter dark chocolate on the finish.
