COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

This is a beer matured for a year in French oak barrels that previously held red wine, throughout the period of maturation heaps of Son Puig were also in the barrel. It is a beer with wine-like touch, slightly acidic.

MoritzF (10129) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 11, 2017
(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, ruby amber colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Vinegary fruity aroma with notes of morellos and a delicately oaky touch in the background. Sour flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Fruit-accented vinegary taste with loads of morello-cherries and shades of oaky notes; quite lasting mildly acidic finish with a delicately malty sweetness. Interesting. 27.III.17

(bottle) hazy deep ruby colour with a frothy light-pink head. aroma of heavy acetone and marzipan, with some notes of canned apricots, dried cherries and black pepper. flavour is more of the same, heavy acetone and lemon juice, with lots of cherry stones, brown sugar and a semi-tart blackcurrant finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy red amber, low head. Berries dissolved in paint thinner or grannies perfume. Medium light mellow sparkly and dry. Berry, fairly sweet, vanilla, tobacco, unusual.

FinnIckler (918) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 27, 2017
Bottle. Pours red. Nose is acidic, cherries, wood, red wine. Almost no carbonation, Palate is sour cherries, oak, sour finish. Good, but would be excellent with more carbonation.

Red with almost no head. Aroma is cherries, wood, some syrup, red berries. Taste is sour raspberries with some red wine tanines, sweet fruit. Bitter finish. A bit meh and strange...

Bottle. Hazy red color with hardly any head. Aroma is cherry, milky, acetone, oak sugar. Taste is more of the same. Medium carbonation. Not bad, better than expected!

CloakedDagger (2864) - - DEC 8, 2016
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep red with a small, off-white head - quite pretty. Nose has some cherries buried underneath a layer of acetone. Light body, close to no carbonation, again cherry and acetone and some further chemical accents. A nice attempt at a sour cherry style, but it doesn’t pull through. 081216

Flaska (delad med mzaar) . Dimmog rödbrun öl med ett lättare skum. Doft av syrliga bär och körsbär. I smaken tillkommer körsbärskärnor och vinägersyrlighet.

mzaar (3691) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2016
Bottle from Del Mon, Palma. Pours hazy red-brown with a minimal head. Aromas and flavours of cherry, vinegar and wood. Dry texture. Sourish aftertaste.
