COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark red ale was barrel aged on Bing cherries for more than three years, then further aged with Bourbon vanilla beans for six months. Aromas of deep, dark cherry flesh and port are noticed up front. Rich, tawny port, black cherries and leather on the palate lead to pronounced cherry port and sherry note that lingers on the finish.

On tap at Cascade, pours a dark mahogany with a tiny white had. Aroma of dark cherries, bourbon barrels, vanilla, port liqueur and other sweet liqueur. Flavour is uber-complex, with loads of port and sherry liqueur, leather, bourbon barrels, vanilla and some dark berries. Supremely complex, with loads of depth, accentuated beautifully by the bourbon and vanilla. Most excellent.

Dark mahogany in color. Smooth, sour cherries and hints of tobacco on the nose. The initial pucker gives way to soft bourbon and vanilla notes that linger. Very nice, very smooth.
