Toasty with a hint of caramel and nutty notes. Light english hops - pepper and earth, herbal. Pours light hazy amber, not much head or lace. The flavor is lightly sweet with caramel, toasted malts, earthy spicy hops. A touch herbal. Light and easy to drink. Somewhat with an english feel. On tap at Raccoon Lodge. Pours out golden/amber topped with a sandy cream head. Aroma was of bread malts, nuts, light fruit notes, and some pine hops. Taste was as the aroma with a focus on the bread malts and light bitter end.

Draught at the brewpub. Light amber color with a creamy head. Lightly rich butterscotch and malty caramel aroma. Rich caramel and toffee malt flavors balanced by lightly spicy hops and just enough bitterness. Finishes a little sweet, but still easily drinkable. [2947-20100626] Tap. Pleasant bread crumbs aroma. Clear, medium orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. More bread crust and bitterness throughout the flavour. Medium body. Drinkable, nice balance.

2010-06-26. Orange amber body with a small creamy off-white head. 3+ Mild fruity aroma, touch of mild yeast, malt, and hops. 5+ Flavour has modest bitterness throughout, bit muddled, slightly grainy. Average to light bodied. Meh. Okay, bit dull. On Tap at Raccoon Lodge, Portland.
