Toasty with a hint of caramel and nutty notes. Light english hops - pepper and earth, herbal. Pours light hazy amber, not much head or lace. The flavor is lightly sweet with caramel, toasted malts, earthy spicy hops. A touch herbal. Light and easy to drink. Somewhat with an english feel. On tap at Raccoon Lodge. Pours out golden/amber topped with a sandy cream head. Aroma was of bread malts, nuts, light fruit notes, and some pine hops. Taste was as the aroma with a focus on the bread malts and light bitter end.

Draught at the brewpub. Light amber color with a creamy head. Lightly rich butterscotch and malty caramel aroma. Rich caramel and toffee malt flavors balanced by lightly spicy hops and just enough bitterness. Finishes a little sweet, but still easily drinkable. Nice balanced flavors overall. mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 13, 2010
[2947-20100626] Tap. Pleasant bread crumbs aroma. Clear, medium orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. More bread crust and bitterness throughout the flavour. Medium body. Drinkable, nice balance.
