Another gift from Drew- big thanks! Really excited about this one. The nose sure delivered- huge apricot, sweet citrus, slight sourness. I’d live in this aroma if I could! Flavor disappointed a bit. Didn’t get as much apricot as in the nose- just more slight fruit sweetness, funk & vinegar. Good overall.

PowY (1219) - AUSTRIA - JAN 29, 2018
750 ml bottle, vintage 2016, at Sander's place. Pours a hazy, light orange with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is lightly funky, old socks, spicy with apricots and tart berries and hints of vinegar. Medium body with a heavy sourness and an average carbonation. Flavor of unripe apricots and citric acidity, citric fruits, some tart berries, vinegar, flowers, some funk. Overall really nice flavors but the sourness is a little bit over the top.

750 ml bottle shared by PowY, thanks!
Orange, hazy body, with a small, yellow head.
Aroma of organic funk, apricot,
Tastes of vinegar, funk, apricot, sour citrus,
Medium, mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes acidic, moderate dry, with vinegar, citrus, apricot, some green apples.

Very nice, while not outstanding. The nose is vety lovely, with a nice organic funkiness while the taste is a bit too sour. The apricots aren't that prominent.

0,75l bottle at Sanders shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Vintage 2016. orange cloudy color, small white head. smells musty, earthy, citric, estragon, bit leathery. nice smell. full body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, earthy, astringent, peppery, estragon, bit flowerish. finishes rather sour and dry with notes of citrus, flowers and musty notes. nice one, but dont get one much apricots, rather on the sour side. still rather good though.

2015 Vintage @ 7.2% ABV. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Bold, crisp, tart aroma of stone fruit. Smooth with an intense tartness and fruity flavor. Good full mouth feel with a nice pucker factor. Crisp and clean finish with a nice lingering tart fruity aftertaste. Very refreshing and enjoyable. Solid choice!

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Clear orange with a diminishing, off-white head. Aroma of orange, lemon & apricot, barnyard, vinegar, yeast, leather, cheese & cream, 'bacteria'. It tastes only light fruity sweet but overall heavy sour, lactic, fruity and lambic-like; the finish is long, tart and drying. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Reminded me so much of a traditional Lambic; all in all, something completely different and not an obvious drink.

From tap at Cirkus with RFK lønningspils 13.10.17. Hazy golden. White head and lacing. Acid aroma and even more acid raste, with some fruityness. Hints of sour wine gum and citric acid powder. Apricot is underwhelming. Very dry.

Great beer. Apricot comes through quite strongly, but not overly intense. Good body and clean. Cascade barrel house portland ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

75 cl. bottle, “Vill og syrlig ølfestival” (Wild and sour beerfestival) Oslo, 8. Sept. Hazy golden straw. Small white head. Vinous aroma of dried apricot, apricot skin and lemon. Light body with tones of fresh apricots, peaches and hint of wood. Oily smooth mouthfeel that's work very well together with a very nice acidity. Warming alcohol. An excellent beer from a brewery that has become one of my favorite breweries.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color. Sour aroma, some apricot, but also some acetic. Smooth mouthfeel, the acidity is aggressive, there is some apricot flavor, a bit vinous, tart lemon, and very astringent in the final.
Lack of depth and elegance, just an overpriced uber acidic beer.
