COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cascade Apricot Ale is based on our Temptor Triple Ale that has undergone over 8 months of lactic fermentation and oak barrel aging. Ripe NW Apricots are fermented with this beer for 3 additional months. This hand packaged and bottle conditioned ale will only get better with age ... good luck waiting.

Serve at 45-50 Degrees F.

Bottle with Henry. We both poured into tulips. My observations: the appearance was a transparent golden color with a slim amount of carbonation bubbles rising at a slow pace. Fingers worth of white foamy head slid off fairly quick. Not much lace. The aroma had a nice blend of sweet to tart apricots, lactic behavior, sweet wood, smooth sweet grassiness, a touch of pine needle, light floral tones, and a little bit of white grape/vinous quality at the end, acceptable. The flavor blended the sour to the tart to the sweet very nicely. Apricots with a little bit of vinous and oaky tones run over some hay to semi-dry grassy aspects to guide into the aftertaste and slide into the finish. The palate was almost medium bodied, seemed to sit just a touch under and creating a pretty good sipping quality about it since the acidity did seem to produce the expected harshness I got, but wasnt too bad. Carbonation did feel on par and the ABV felt just a touch under, but wasnt too far off, maybe closer to 7%. Overall, lucked out on getting this one. Thanks Henry on the share because I dont think I could have afforded this.
