Bottle thanks to prufrockstar in the mystery box trade! Pours a beautiful people from the bottle with quickly dissipating bubbly head that continues to bubble with carbonation. Aroma of big funky must with nice sweet fruitiness behind it. Taste follows, sweet tart blueberries follows acidic sourness. Good balance if not a little over the top on the sour, great carbonation, all around amazing. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - NOV 3, 2014
Beatiful pinkish-red to purple colour, with a brownish haze and a small pinkish rim. Very fruity nose, red fruit, berries, raspberry, blueberry, bilberry. Sourish, faintly woody, faintly lactic. Surplus of fruitacids, and a perfumey finish, very tart. Finish becomes bilberry to me. Hints of lemon and wild yeasts. Light dry-out effect. Long-lasting berry flavours, getting drier and drier. Another little marvel. I can quite dig these sours. Many thanks to M & L V.! BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 29, 2014

This is a pinkish-purple colored beer. It has a fruity/berry aroma. Slightly herbal. Some woody notes. Another very tasty fruit sour from Cascade. These guys do fruit sours and they do them well.
750ml shared by Madvike. Purple red, deep. Oily, thin head. Juicy, fruity. Some of that test tube US action, but juicy and nice, real fruity depth. Captures a mellow enjoyability not found in most US sours.

Silken blueberry juice and mineral angles delve into intelligent acidity in this soft and bubbly creation.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the purplish gown.
-Blueberry flavors are well integrated.
-Drinkability is quite high; this is an elegant drink.
-Bacterial complexity roams within, giving depth to the fruitiness.
-A more recent batch (2014) had an atrocious nose of Antiphlogistine, green peppers atop the lactic fruitiness. Hard to understand why they put this batch out...Rating dropped from 4.1 to 3.5 to average things out.
Bottle, from the Beer Dispesary, Apex. good aroma, yeast and fruit. Blueberry, oak, vinegar. Blueish red color, good initial head, faded quickly to nothing. Sour flavor. Light body, thin creamy mouthfeel, tart dry finish. It’s good, nice blend on oak and blueberries, appearance was a little odd, head disappeared quickly, blueberry gives it a funny color. But still a nice beer burg326 (5607) - Florida, USA - SEP 19, 2014
Poured a deep purple color with aromas of blueberries, light wet oak, some tartness, and a touch of vinegar. Flavors matched the aromas, tart blueberries, funk and some light wet wood, enjoybale and really drinkable. slowrunner77 (12844) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 17, 2014
"Deep purple blue pour. Wonderful aroma and flavor of fresh blueberries, herbal and floral as well. Very fresh tasting, moderately sour. Probably the best blueberry beer I’ve had..." thornecb (6062) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 1, 2014
Pours mahogany blue into a snifter. White micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Blueberry and oak aromas. Sharp with sweet blueberry and tart lactic notes. Dry lasting blueberry powder finish.
