COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This NW style sour ale blends wheat & blond ales that were oak aged in barrels for 6 mths, then additionally aged 4 mths on fresh blueberries. Huge herbal notes of dense blueberries in the nose give way to hints of oak & a dusty floral note. Rich earthy notes of dark fruit on the palate lead to a tart finish that dries out to a base note of blueberry skins.

Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. A real stunner. Has a very true blueberry character. Extremely fresh and highly tart. Great balance, nice acidic bite. Dries out modestly in the finish amidst full and sincere blueberry tang. Very, very good beer.

Hazy red color. Nice berry aroma. Lean mouthfeel, sour, lemony, with sour berries, nice astringency.
Nice but not much depth.

Cloudy dark red color with pinkish head. Very nice aroma, its mild, fruity, sour, a bit yeasty, with some nut kernels that add a layer of complexity, hazelnuts. Smooth and super dry; the fruit is prominent, the acidity level is just right, with lemon qualities, it also has some tannins and mild final astringency. Very pleasant to drink, like a milder Lambic.
Excellent.
