Bottle: Pours violet, definite pinkish hue, moderate to thin sudsy white head, spotty lacing. Aroma of unripened Blueberries, well at least Blueberry bushes. Its like unsweetened immature Blueberries. Tart on the tongue up front, backside is dry with a soft unripened Blueberry sweetness. Very clean this is. Comes across as very dry and very tart. Nothing off about this one. Not as big and robust as some of their other offerings, but it is certainly tart, fruity, and mouth puckering. Strong woodiness on the nose as well as on the tongue. I keep thinking to myself how clean this one is. The more I drink, the more I realize how dry this one is. My mouth is very much puckering after a few sips. While the Blueberry aspect is there, its not as strong as I would have liked. Either way, this is a very clean and well put together PNW sour ale. Comes across as very clean and very easy to drink. Easily one of the better Blueberry beers I have had, ever! jookos (6762) - FINLAND - MAY 26, 2017
Mbcc green. Reddish. Light sourish berries on nose, red lingonberries, red currsnts. Herby. Med bodied, pretty intense, smooth, light tarty. Decent. ajnepple (6623) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 13, 2017
On tap at Hops & Pie, vintage 2016. Ruby red to purple in appearance with slight haze and a small white/pink head. Aroma of blueberries, earth, sour funk and a hint of toasted oak. Similar flavor, fruity, tart and sour with some light herbal/floral notes. Light dry feel with a fresh blueberry finish. Nice. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2014
This one poured a semi hazy dark blue color with a small pinkish head. Aroma was of blueberry skins, lemons, wood, and hay. Flvor was pretty sour, funk blueberry, and cheesy lemons. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - APR 27, 2013
DLD 2012: Pinkish hue with a fizzy head. The profile was tart blueberries and white grapes, oak, wheat, biscuit, mineral, and a hint of tannins. The mouth feel was quite refreshing, sprite and lively with just the right amount of oak dryness. I really enjoyed this even with the high level of acidity. Nice!

Bottle: The aroma consists of blueberries and just a touch of lemon. It pours a mostly transparent purplish-red with a touch of haze and a minimal head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of blueberry. The finish has light-moderate musty lemon and some light funk. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.
