COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This NW style sour ale blends wheat & blond ales that were oak aged in barrels for 6 mths, then additionally aged 4 mths on fresh blueberries. Huge herbal notes of dense blueberries in the nose give way to hints of oak & a dusty floral note. Rich earthy notes of dark fruit on the palate lead to a tart finish that dries out to a base note of blueberry skins.

Definitely a great one here. I had it blind, was thinking black currant all the way, but blueberry works too. Nice funk, medium to high sourness.

Not as sour as I expected from Cascade, still very good. cloudy blueberry coloured body with pink head, and lacy. Some hospital disinfectant aroma. Smooth for a sour, more sour in the finish, and in the sediment.

"Deep purple blue pour. Wonderful aroma and flavor of fresh blueberries, herbal and floral as well. Very fresh tasting, moderately sour. Probably the best blueberry beer Ive had..."

Bottle thanks to Tom! Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of blueberries that are slightly sweet up front with a growing bitterness/sourness. Flavor begins with sweet blueberries but has a nice growing sourness with achintvof acid.

Bottle WPB Town Hall Meeting 2012 This beer rocks! Pours hazy and burnt-orange with a fizzy, periwinkle head that never seems fully dissipates. The bouquet furnishes sweet blueberries intermingled with acidity and a touch of funk. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is tart and fruity with mild tannic bitterness. Fruity, tangy, minerally finish. Kudos to the ever-generous biggsbowler for sharing this beauty!

Bottle @ Avery SourFest III. Reddish, somewhat murky appearance with a pink head. Blueberry, hay, straw, somewhat tart aroma. The flavor tasted a little fucked up to me. I didnt get a ton of blueberry and instead just got a grainy, straw flavor with some other light fruit notes. Disappointing.
