COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This NW style sour ale blends wheat & blond ales that were oak aged in barrels for 6 mths, then additionally aged 4 mths on fresh blueberries. Huge herbal notes of dense blueberries in the nose give way to hints of oak & a dusty floral note. Rich earthy notes of dark fruit on the palate lead to a tart finish that dries out to a base note of blueberry skins.

Sample at the Barrel House. Cloudy ruby-brown pour with a medium thin fizzy pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of berries and yeast. Medium body with a midly funky undertone and flavors of blueberries, earthy yeast and citrus. The finish is fruity with a mildly tart blueberry aftertaste. Solid all around.

Definitely a great one here. I had it blind, was thinking black currant all the way, but blueberry works too. Nice funk, medium to high sourness.

Not as sour as I expected from Cascade, still very good. cloudy blueberry coloured body with pink head, and lacy. Some hospital disinfectant aroma. Smooth for a sour, more sour in the finish, and in the sediment.

Bottle courtesy of one of the Half Time guys (Ed possibly, though it could have been Matt or John. But not Craig. Definitely not Craig) in the HT suite at TAPNY. Pours a pink to purple color with a thin white head. Sour fruit on the nose, funk, acid and blueberry. Sweet with some big fat dusty blueberries in there. Long acid, big blueberries. Amazing. Light dusty blueberry lingering on the finish.

Bottle thanks to Tom! Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of blueberries that are slightly sweet up front with a growing bitterness/sourness. Flavor begins with sweet blueberries but has a nice growing sourness with achintvof acid.
